Man sollte offen ansprechen, dass man die Nacht in einem Seniorenheim und nicht in einem Hotel verbringen wird. Die Inneneinrichtung wirkte klinisch-steril absolut ohne Flair. Kein Bild an der Wand, nichts.

Stayed in an apartment within a retirement block, which we were curious to see how it worked out, as we had never stayed anywhere like this before and on paper it shouldn’t work but we loved it. The staff were very welcoming and spoke very good English and helped explain how the keys and fobs worked. I had read a review online that a previous visitor had been locked out and there was no one on reception at 7pm. This has been resolved as you are given a fob to get in when the front doors are closed. You paid extra for using their underground secure parking. You could park outside but for ease we used the parking facility and you had a lift (elevator) right up to your floor which made things super easy with luggage. Another review mentioned that they had to drive round to find somewhere to park to check out and hand back keys. I found you could pull over to the side of the slope and walk round to reception without blocking anyone else from accessing the car park. However this could differ if you had a larger vehicle. The residents who lived in the building were lovely and no doubt found visitors arriving very amusing. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed for a stay. It also had a small outside balcony which was lovely sitting having a morning coffee. Location to the city was perfect, here you had access to shops, historical architecture and so many choices of bars and restaurants. There was even a supermarket for buying supplies if you wanted to cook for yourselves in the apartment. We didn’t have breakfast as we had an early start but you could book to have breakfast and an evening meal in the hotel. The staff were so accommodating and they really gave the impression that your stay in their building was valued. We would have no hesitation of staying here again.
