Locatie en woning waren perfect. De ligging van de woning bood veel privacy. De ontvangst door de eigenaar was buitengewoon vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hij heeft meer dan zijn best gedaan om het huis zo goed mogelijk klaar te maken en gasten een perfect gevoel te geven van hoe de echte Kretense gastvrijheid bedoeld is.

We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped, with good Wi-Fi and a wonderful terrace overlooking the mountains. Being higher up in the village meant it was pleasantly cooler than the coast, and we enjoyed the lovely breeze through the windows. The insect nets were a particularly nice touch.
The bed was comfortable, although I personally found the pillows a little too hard and bulky — but pillows are very much a matter of personal preference. We had everything we needed, although a wine glass and corkscrew would have been useful.
The location was excellent for exploring western Crete, with Rethymno only around 15 minutes away by car. Armenoi is about 10 minutes away and has great restaurants, supermarkets, a bakery and petrol station. The local village taverna also serves excellent food.
The drive up to the house is very steep, but we soon got used to it. The surrounding mountain scenery is spectacular.
Overall, a peaceful and comfortable house in a beautiful mountain setting. We’re very glad we chose it and would happily stay again.

Athina's house is wonderful! The space, both inside and outside, is more than generous, with numerous places to spend beautiful moments, and the communication with the hosts was very good.
Inside the house we found everything we needed for a enjoyable stay, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed in the master bedroom (the only one we used) was very comfortable.
Nearby is the village of Armenoi, where we found supermarkets, a bakery and Alekos Taverna.
It is easy to reach Rethymnon, the main attractions in the area and beautiful beaches.
We felt very good in this accommodation!

Very comfortable in a beautiful countryside. House contains everything you could possibly need and there are many terraces to sit in sun or shade.
Hard to find alone the first time but with help of the owners it was easy. Once you know, it is easy
