The communication with the host was a bit confusing as I was told that a “colleague” would be there but, actually, it was the host’s mother.
Altogether the family was very nice and helpful (could leave my luggage at early arrival and go explore). The room was cute with a comfy bed, maybe a little overstuffed with mismatched old furniture. Everything was sparkling clean. A fridge and a kettle were provided.
Only upon arrival I realised that my room did not have an ensuite but a shared bathroom. When I looked up the description on Expedia I saw that this was only mentioned at the bottom of the room description. The shared bathroom was very modern, though, and very clean. The shower was powerful & hot. A haidryer was available.
The location is in the historic city centre but a bit away from the main tourist attractions which makes it quiet. I slept very well.
