The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The places was clean and a rarity for hostels, the showers had a separated wet &dry section, so you don't need to shuffle past others in just a towel to your bed to change.
They also have a few experiences you can book with them though I didn't get the chance this time.
My only complaints would be there not being a lock on the drawer/storage spot for your bags, and curtains for my bed didn't full cover it, as I was by the window light from the street kept coming into my bunk l, as the curtain just wasn't long enough.

Great hostel close to the train station, excellent staff, clean, comfortable and social compared to other hostels in Taiwan. I would repeat!
Just the window missing but I knew this while booking so no issue.

Great hostel, super clean, well placed to visit Hualien and the hosts are super nice and helpful ! They helped me a lot ! Highly recommend !
