A corner for relaxation and rest, in the center of Sofia

The property is very well located in the center of the city, yet it has parking in the interior yard of the building, and is very quiet. The area is very nice, with restaurant, shops and even a shopping mall within walking distance. It was easy to find and access, the host and his family are very-very nice and flexible, I can only wish all hosts would be this nice and hospitable. The apartment itself is very nice, comfortable, modern and nicely decorated. It has all the amenities and facilities one could wish for (microwave, stove, oven, coffee machine, fridge, A/C, TV with surround sound, etc.). We especially loved and appreciated the fruit left by the owner as a welcome gift, as well as the cold water after a 12 hour drive at 35-40 degrees. Communication was easy and fast, the host always responded quickly and in a very helpful way. 10+! Thank you!

There was nothing we did not like, however just as an information for others who might not be friends with walking up and down stairs, the apartment is on the 7. floor (it is a loft, afterall), so there are a lot of stairs. There is an elevator in the building which goes up to the 6. floor, however it is rather old (as is the building itself) and some might find it scary. We did not mind at all, we took the elevator for bringing the suitcases up, but other than that we used the stairs and were perfectly fine. Just don't book the loft and complain afterwards.

Fabulous Loft Stay in Sofia

The apartment is on the 6th/7th floor in the attic space, but is very spacious and has been well adapted and furnished, and well thought out. It is very comfortable with a fully functioning, well equipped, kitchen. The bed and pillows are super comfy too and towels are thick and luxurious. It was great to have a washing machine supplied and an off-road car park behind the property, although spaces are limited.

Be aware that the bathroom is very compact, with the photos on line being slightly misleading. The photo of the toilet is in fact the whole bathroom. There is a shower head which comes out of the wall above the toilet (not shown in the photo) so the entire area becomes a “wet room”. There isn’t a lot of space so you do need to remove everything (toilet paper and towels etc) before showering as the entire room gets soaked. We found it easier to come out completely afterwards and to dry ourselves in the kitchen! The bathroom then needs wiping down and drying off afterwards so that you can use the toilet. Fine for a few nights though.
