Beware of the honey trap

Location, view

Beware of the honey trap. Beautiful apartment with a gorgeous view located just right, but, both bathrooms reek of foul sewer smell, the drainage is clogged so the water won’t go down, the owner advertises that there are television and washing machine in the apartment but no there aren't... the elevator needs a key in order to work so if you go out alone and leave your family in the apartment you need someone to 'come pick you up'... There were no utilities when we checked in although the reservation was for family of five, same goes for the towels and bed sheets, there is an air conditioner in one of the two bedrooms, and another air conditioner in the living room, but he is set right next to the sea view window so all the cool air is immediately warmed up and the house is not cool, it did get to 39° while we were there so it was not convenient, (reminding you the foul smells...) the owner first admitted to the problems and even sent a young man to look at what can be done, but except few forks knives and drinking glasses the other problems weren't addressed, he did offer to take and do the laundry for us but he did so one time and afterwards demanded money, we did talk about making a discount of 100 euros but he agreed to do so only in the term that we will cancel our invitation we made through 'booking', that of course couldn't be done since we were already there.. and anyway, like in the case of the laundry, the owner did not keep his word and wanted the whole amount, regardless of the lacking of working television and no washing machine and all the other things. Furthermore there are daily electric power-outs that take at least an hour. And at times it's exclusive to this apartment and not locally.

a vista era linda, o apartamento bem espaçoso, bonito, boa localização, restaurantes e bares ao redor e perto do centro

o elevador não funcionava, então tivemos que subir 7 andares de escada, mas o proprietário nos ajudou com a bagagem tanto para subir como para descer, não tinha luz no corredor do nosso apartamento então a noite era muito escuro, não tem ar condicionado em um dos quartos e havia lixos de hóspedes que estava hospedados anteriormente dentro do armário da cozinha
