This stay completely ruined our trip
We booked this property for three nights but left after the first night because it was impossible to stay there. The biggest problem was the smell. The entire house had an extremely strong odor of diesel fuel, engine oil and industrial chemicals. After just one night, all of our clothes were completely saturated with this smell, and my nasal passages became painfully irritated. We left early the next morning because we simply could not stay there any longer. Another very concerning issue was privacy. While we were having breakfast at a café, the host entered the property with two strangers to inspect the house and recorded a video inside while all of our personal belongings were still there. We had fully paid for the accommodation and had not checked out yet. We found this completely unacceptable and a serious invasion of our privacy. Guests should also be aware that a very large German Shepherd roams freely in the yard without being tied up or kept behind a fence. I have photographic evidence of this. If you are travelling with a small child or simply want to sit outside on the terrace, be prepared for this large dog to run up to you. We were travelling with our Jack Russell Terrier and were afraid to even go out into the yard. The furniture is very outdated. There is no proper bed, only old sofa beds that were uncomfortable to sleep on and caused back pain. The pillows were flat, lumpy and worn out. The stove is extremely old and barely functional, and even boiling water took an unusually long time. The location was also disappointing, as the property is outside the city and did not meet our expectations. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing Booking experiences we have ever had. We cannot recommend this property and strongly advise others to avoid it.
