A wonderful authentic village stay in Samos
Casa Giulia is located in a beautiful mountain village, just a 10-minute drive from Karlovasi Port. If you want to escape crowded tourist resorts and experience authentic Greek island life—with traditional stone houses, excellent local food, friendly residents and a lively village square—this is a wonderful choice. Shops, restaurants and a pharmacy are all within easy reach.
The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and stayed in close contact with us throughout our visit. Samos itself is one of the greenest islands in the Aegean, with wonderfully clear water, lovely beaches and many coastal villages to explore.
Renting a car is essential. I recommend choosing a compact car rather than a large SUV, as the streets in the villages and small towns can be very narrow.
I would definitely recommend this property.
