Disorganized Check-in Process but Great Location Once SortedCasa Savoia & Casa Jolanda Venice is currently completely unavailable due to construction, but this was never mentioned during our booking. They should update to all the booking side for this inconvenient. When we arrived, we were incredibly upset and disappointed to find a construction site with zero instructions on where to go. We actually had to involve the local police, who contacted management to find out we had been moved to an affiliated apartment.Once we finally arrived at the apartment, the stay itself was fine. The location is excellent—extremely convenient to St. Mark’s Square with plenty of shopping and restaurants within short walking distance. The apartment was very clean and nice, though you should note there is no elevator, making it a tough climb to the 3rd floor with heavy bags.Ultimately, management needs to properly inform guests about the construction and provide direct check-in instructions for their alternative properties to prevent travelers from being stranded.
