Great communication and easy check in with specific directions to the Villa. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we really appreciate all the recommendations and communication. The staff onsite are very helpful and friendly. We loved this specialcove and black soft sand with infinity pooloverlooking the beach. Villa is stocked and comfortable! Easy access to multiple beaches and day trips in the area really made us feel like we could explore easily. We also just enjoyed relaxing in the area- Coco is so close for more restaurants and local restaurants. Highly recommend, our family of 4 had a trip of a lifetime.

Incredible condo resort on the hillside over a secluded black sand beach with a yummy restaurant and great concierge! Stayed 4 nights and wish we stayed 7. You can kayak or snorkel off the beach, play in tide pools and watch the sunset every night. In the am you’ll be visited by parrots and howler monkeys and in the afternoon nap in a hammock by the beach. The sand is black, so hot during the day, but so soft. Sunsets are beyond compare. The condo is well apportioned and comfy with great beds, ac in each room, and epic views. Great kitchen to cook in and would be comfy for up to 6 or 7 guests. Quick walk down a steep hill to the beach and restaurant. Concierge can arrange lots of day trips. Would recommend having a car so you can check out some local beaches/towns on your own. Wis we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful spring break with our teenage kids. While we loved exploring the area and finding other beaches and hikes (and nearby zip lining and boogie boarding at Tamarindo) we kinda preferred to stay close to this beautiful cove. Almost everyday we explored the tidal pools (forever changing), watched stunning sunsets from different spots depending on the tides, snorkeled in the bay, read on the beach and often shifted to the pool for an afternoon snack and drink. Our mini adventures so close to the house were just right for relaxing, popping up to the house (5 min walk) for lunch pr a change of gear, and taking in the beauty of this place. We also did a fishing trip- booked with the property host. It was an amazing 4 hours. They picked us up right on the beach, and we lucked out and the black tuna were running. The captain and guide fileted the fish and cooked it up back at the house. That was definitely a highlight for my son. This is just such a great spot to stay close or get to the many adventures within an hour or 2.

Our host was very informative re: Villa La Paz and the surrounding area. We had a delightful stay and the view of the beach and ocean from the balcony was awesome.
