We were looking for somewhere close to the Masai Mara Reserve which was not too expensive. We know many people in the travel industry, and no one could tell us about Mara Hilltop, so I was nervous about booking here. But all I can say is “WOW, what a find!”. The design of the tents is great, particularly the bathrooms. Great restaurant, bar and pool areas. The really special part is the rooftop. Sitting up there with a drink and watching the sunset – beautiful. The owner (and his dog) and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I really cannot rate this place more highly, and I hope to go back some time soon. Word of warning, though – it can get very windy at night, and it sounds like the tent is going to blow away. For me, it was all part of the wonderful experience, but it could be a bit daunting for some.

Everything was perfect about this property. From the location to the food to the amenities to the staff, everything was perfect! They’ve arranged all the pick ups, the game drives and the drop offs, and we couldn’t be happier with the locals we have met through them.
We loved everything about this property. No notes!
