The location is absolutely breathtaking. All the small touches exceeded our expectations. Muesli, yoghurt, fresh muffins, rusks and a bottle of bubbly was there on arrival.
We Couldn't have asked for a better birthday weekend for my hubby.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking a restful, scenic escape with a touch of luxury.
Staying here was an absolute delight, every detail, every finish, every furnishing is curated with intention. The open-plan layout gives the entire space a sense of effortless flow, while its rustic, modern aesthetic adds warmth, character and a comforting sense of retreat.
What truly elevates the stay, though, are the views. The scenic landscape surrounds you from every angle. You can lie in bed and hear the river moving gently below, framed by striking mountains and wide, open sky. The sound of the river reaches you in the most calming way, almost like natural white noise. At night, the patio becomes a perfect observatory, you can look right into the stars and clouds with a clarity that feels almost unreal.

Beautiful location, the property is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by Aloes and flowing streams , lots of beautiful scenery and wonder of nature is on full display, Janey’s Suite is a true hidden gem , beautifully furnished with views beyond imagination. Tastefully decorated with top class finishes as well as high grade cutlery and all the necessary equipment to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from Nespresso machines and milk frothers , to air fryers and sharp knives , it’s the attention to detail that makes all the difference .
Showers with a view and board games as well ask books to read on cold winters nights with a glass of wine , lanterns and gas braai as well as 2 fireplaces make it a cosy stay in winter , in summer open the glass doors and let the sounds of nature fill the room , babbling brooks and birds song can soothe the soul , sit in the hot tub under the star filled sky or snuggle under the plush duvets it’s all a sensory experience, staff was friendly and manager stopped by to chat and give advice on what to do a the best walks and trails to follow , all in all Heysbrook is a true hidden gem in the lowveld and you need to put it on your bucket list to visit
Nothing much comes to mind , maybe an extra umbrella on the patio for those hot summer days but otherwise it’s hard to fault

Everything. Such a stunning place to escape the city and break up the journey to the Kruger. Can most certainly recommend this place. Clean, beautifully furnished and super attention to detail with small things such as comfy slippers and nights gowns to an ice cold bottle of sparkling wine on arrival.
Nothing. Road a bit more tricky than anticipated.
