Wonderful heritage property in the new city but within a short tuktuk ride to the City Palace. Great and safe location near the Saheliyon ki bari garden. We loved the restaurant Amro which is part of the same property
and where they served the high quality breakfast. The staff were great hosts (thank you, Anshul) and they took care of everything we needed. They even prepared a take away breakfast bag for us as we checked out very early to catch our flight. I highly recommend it and will go back again when I'm in Udaipur.

There was no hot water available in the bathroom on one of the days of my stay, which caused considerable inconvenience.
Moreover, three days prior to my arrival, the hotel contacted me and requested that I make 50% of the payment in advance. I was informed that if I cancelled my reservation through Booking.com and made the payment directly to the hotel, they would offer me a discounted rate. On the last day, I was again contacted and asked to make an advance payment of at least ₹2,000.
Although I made the payment, primarily out of concern and anxiety about securing accommodation after reaching an unfamiliar place, the hotel subsequently refused to honour the discount that had been promised to me.
I found this experience disappointing, particularly because the commitment regarding the discounted rate was not honoured despite my making the payment directly as requested.
