Nino, our host met us outside on Via Etnea. Accompanied us up the lift to the apartment on the 4th floor.. The main foyer is huge. The apartment is clean and modern. Comfortable bed, washing machine in kitchen handy and the air conditioner in the kitchen and the living area were welcomed. The apartment faces busy Via Etnea and even though there are double glazed windows some street noise does filter through, especially at night and if the crowd is loud. It didn't bother us, I sleep with ear buds but for those who like quiet, it's worthy to note. The location is absolutely perfect. Right on one of Catania's main thoroughfare, which is ZTL so not much car traffic. Bright and airy, with lots of storage space. Full sized kitchen. Clean glassware, which is the first thing I look at. The apartment was very clean. Excellent shower with lots of hot water. There were extra pillows in the cupboard but they didn't have pillowcases. I sleep with two pillows so I had to be creative and I sorted something out but this may need to be addressed with the cleaning crew. Wi Fi was welcomed but not super fast.

Large, clean apartment. It is located close to all the main tourist attractions. A major advantage is that it is situated on Via Etnea, which becomes a pedestrian street, and is close to shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. The airport bus stop is right in front of the building.
The hosts were very kind and allowed us to check in earlier and check out at noon, which was extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
