Die Unterkunft wird als rollstuhlgerecht beschrieben, was nach unserer Erfahrung leider nicht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten entspricht.
Bereits der Zugang zur Wohnung stellt für Rollstuhlfahrer ein erhebliches Problem dar. Der Haupteingang ist nur über eine Treppe erreichbar. Alternativ wurde ein Seiteneingang durch die angrenzende Tierarztpraxis genannt, dieser war jedoch für den verwendeten Rollstuhl zu schmal. Weder die Treppe noch die eingeschränkte Zugänglichkeit waren auf den Bildern oder in der Beschreibung erkennbar. Da die Buchung von einem Rollstuhlfahrer vorgenommen wurde, haben wir uns auf die Angaben zur Barrierefreiheit verlassen.
Der Rollstuhlfahrer konnte glücklicherweise noch einige Schritte selbstständig laufen und die Treppe mit Unterstützung bewältigen. Der Rollstuhl musste jedoch von einer Begleitperson getragen werden. Ein selbstständiger Zugang zur Wohnung oder ein Aufenthalt ohne Begleitperson wären nicht möglich gewesen. Aus unserer Sicht kann die Unterkunft daher keinesfalls als rollstuhlgerecht bezeichnet werden.
Auch innerhalb der Wohnung gab es erhebliche Einschränkungen. Zwar sind die Räume insgesamt recht geräumig, das Badezimmer ist jedoch viel zu klein und eng für die Nutzung mit einem Rollstuhl. Es gab keine ausreichenden Bewegungsflächen und keine Möglichkeit, selbstständig vom Rollstuhl auf die Toilette umzusetzen. Auch die Dusche war mit dem Rollstuhl nicht erreichbar bzw. nutzbar. Zusätzlich fallen die Türen automatisch zu, was die selbstständige Fortbewegung für Rollstuhlfahrer weiter erschwert.
Darüber hinaus waren die Geräusche aus den umliegenden Wohnungen sowie von außen waren deutlich zu hören, was die Ruhe und den Erholungswert des Aufenthalts zusätzlich beeinträchtigt hat.
Wir möchten ausdrücklich darauf hinweisen, dass die Bezeichnung „rollstuhlgerecht“ bei dieser Unterkunft irreführend ist. Für Menschen, die dauerhaft auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen sind, ist die Unterkunft nicht nutzbar.
