The house isn't cleaned, and hot water wasn't turned on, the landlord falsely accused us

Beautiful scenery, pleasant environment, and tranquility. The house has comfortable facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large TV. Although there aren't many sofas, the space is very large. Providing a kayak is a great service.

It is very poorly cleaned. While it's unavoidable that houses by the lake have a lot of mosquitoes, but it is terrifying for them to infest the entire ceiling. What's unacceptable is the persistent cobwebs. Many places had old cobwebs, clearly indicating that the house wasn't cleaned or prepared before our arrival (a day or two prior). They simply let us check in. Most disgustingly, the hot water system wasn't even turned on, yet they accused us of using up the hot water. The landlord's response was the worst aspect of their service. When we arrived, it was unbearably hot, so no one used the hot water. We only discovered there was no hot water when we went to shower at night. We contacted the person who was online late at night, but he didn't know how to turn on the hot water either. We spent an hour figuring out where the main switch was, but it took a long time for the water to heat up, so in the end, we all had to take cold showers. The child even cried from the cold water. The next day, the landlord's response was that we had used up the hot water, which is why the switch tripped. Even a child wouldn't believe such a ridiculous explanation. What kind of hot water system automatically shuts off the main switch after the hot water runs out instead of automatically refilling and heating it? The main switch is like as a light switch, not a circuit breaker, so it couldn't possibly trip on its own. Most importantly, there was a heatwave in the UK at the time, and we didn't use any hot water at all before showers. How could we have used it all up? The truth is, the room had been cleaned a long time ago, so the hot water system was off. It hadn't been cleaned before we moved in, so the hot water system wasn't turned on either. My parents and children had to take cold showers and cried. But the landlord can then fabricate stories and even falsely accuse us of using up the hot water. It's truly unacceptable.
