Het hotel ligt aan een zijstraat van de hoofdstraat door Pythagorion (flower street). Daardoor is alles goed te bereiken: de haven, winkels en restaurants en het strand. Ook de bezienswaardigheden zijn dichtbij. Achter het hotel is een grote parkeerplaats waar je eventueel de huurauto kwijt kunt.
Het hotel is verder netjes, het is duidelijk dat het al lang bestaat. De kamer en de badkamer zijn niet groot, maar alles is goed. Ontbijt bescheiden, maar ook voldoende.
Moderniseren van de accommodatie zou wellicht wat meer comfort opleveren, maar de ouderwetse luchtbehandeling en de oude ingebouwde radio had ook zijn charme. In het hotel veel trappen (direct al bij binnenkomst), dus niet geschikt voor mindervaliden. Nu is dat eigenlijk het geval voor heel Pythagorion aangezien het andere deel echt tegen de helling is aangebouwd.

De badkamer is echt ontzettend klein en het is een uitdaging om te douchen zonder de badkamer drijfnat te maken.
