Misleading description, there is no electricity. The place and the host are not ready for visitors.

An experience. Pleasant, peaceful location. Surrounded by agricultural land, with views of the hills beyond.

There is no electricity, and the toilet is outside. The chimney ventilates a wood fired oven, and not the gas stove, meaning fumes fill the house. There were no mosquito nets. The description did not say there was no electricity. Not only that, but it was not set up to allow a decent stay - there were no matches, only a lighter that took 7 tries to light. There were no proper candles, only night lights, which are not designed to provide light to read or work by. There was as one solar powered light that did provide decent light, but if one person wanted move to the kitchen or bedroom sections, the other was left without reasonable light. There was also no lead to recharge this. Luckily, we had deduced from the photos that the toilet was outside, (again, not stated in the description) so took our torches, but had assumed we could charge them - and our phones- while we were there. Not the case. A previous review said there was no light- I assume a translation from the Spanish, where ‘luz’ is used for electricity, but I took it to mean it was dark inside- as you would expect with a cave house. The only way to allow light inside is through the door, or the window in the door, but although there is a fly curtain, there was no mosquito net on the window or door. I got bitten a few times. I contacted the host, who said no electricity was in the description- what it said was enjoy a stay without ‘electronics’ - this does not translate to lights or sockets. Was the description deliberately misleading? Even if not, why wasn’t it better organised?

Die Höhle ist tagsüber kühl und abends warm. Sie wirkt total urig und ist ein absolutes Erlebnis. Es ist fast alles da, was man braucht.

Dass kein Strom vorhanden ist, wird erst über den Klick auf den Eigentümer angezeigt. Für uns war das nicht problematisch, sollte man aber wissen. Außerdem bedeutet es auch, dass kein Kühlschrank vorhanden ist. Etwas Eis und eine Kühlbox/-tasche sollte man sich besorgen. (Kerzen und Lichter wurden uns bereitgestellt.)

Die Lage ist für Naturliebhaber super.
