Lovely cottage , perfect for a weekend, it has everything you need and it's well located for visiting both Athlone and Roscommon. Plenty of nature walks around near the lake and the Greenway is ideal for a morning run. Harry was very welcoming and gave great suggestions for places to eat

Very quite place to stay, lovely welcoming hosts
Everything was lovely
7 / 10Good·Aug 2026
Quiet rural location. Level access with parking space adjacent, giving easy access. Helpful owners nearby. Good choice of TV channels included. Owner had kindly provided milk. Modern, fixtures and fittings.
The dining option is a small work surface where you sit on high stools. Limited cutlery and kitchen utensils. Very small capacity fridge/ freezer with low access. Rather uncomfortable sofa.

The property itself was immaculate, you really felt like you had your own privacy and it was in a really quiet area. The cottage was so cosy with great facilities. Harry was amazing and so responsive, all round great guy!
