The Adana Silifke coast has become a bit of a apartment building block eyesore over the last years, sadly, but Cilicia is a treasure to visit, and we chose the Paperon Butik Hotel for us as our home for a few nights. And we could not have been luckier or happier! Cevdet and his family are amazing, warm, knowledgeable, and truly human hosts who take excellent care of their guests - from arrival to departure we felt at home with newfound friends! The rooms are generous, clean, and comfortable, breakfast and tea generous, the beach caravan with resting area the only pearl on the otherwise already spoilt coast (clean and comfortable and with natural shade). To live not at the seafront or directly by the noisy road, but in the second row, so to speak, was a big plus. Supermarket is next door, shops, petrol station around the corner. So all in all a wonderful discovery, but … the true value is the host family, whom we shall not ever forget, wishing them all the good luck in life and with their business!
Turkiye is a majority Muslim country, and that means there’s always a mosque nearby. How not - we actually cherish that. Our only grievance: the local muezzin needs better voice training - he ruins his calls for prayer a bit. 😇 but that’s not the hotel’s fault, of course.

Really friendly staff, real characters and really interesting and fun to chat with! The hotel was well situated, both for the beach and for cultural sites. It was always easy to find parking and the location was very convenient for getting in and out onto the main road but also further inland. The breakfast is superb and homemade!
The showers need a bit of updating but otherwise the rooms are comfortable and charming.
