Distressing stay
The house is located in a nice area by the seaside not far away from a town where you can do your shopping.
Unfortunately, on our arrival there was a huge dead hare lying in the garden, next to the terrace, hot tube and the other bedroom. We immediately called the renting company CAMPAYA and asked them to deal with the issue, first we were asked to do it ourselves (after all you cannot DIY according to Danish law) but we insisted on having the animal removed as we don’t go on holidays equipped in tools or protective gear to deal with dead animals covered with flies, decaying next to the terrace table and hot tube in the garden! That can cause an imminent health hazard threat as this animal could have died from a serious disease like rabbis etc.!
We hoped this issue would be resolved the next day, and next day and next day… but even after several days of calling the problem was never taken care of. … so basically, during our stay we couldn’t make any use of the outside area, hot tube, garden all the nice extras that we paid extra for.
So yes, the house is located in a nice, quiet area, it is well equipped, however you don’t get any help in case of an emergency from the rental company – CAMPAYA. Besides the guests pay around 160 euros (40 euro per day) for final cleaning services that never took place, the house didn’t appear cleaned at all, there wasn’t even a 1/3 of toilet paper roll, no sponge or dishwashing liquid and spiders were hanging in the webs in the living room. To conclude: No we didn't have a nice stay CAMPAYA
