Starting with the people, the Villa manager, the cleaner (twice a week), and the pool cleaner (weekly), are all lovely people that made our stay incredibly comfortable. Communication was easy.
The place itself is brand new and very luxurious. It is exactly the same in person as the photos suggest. The bed is comfortable, the bedroom very dark (good curtains), the kitchen is very adequate for cooking, and the lounge area is lovely for relaxing in the evening and watching some movies. The pool is relatively small, but deep enough to jump into to cool down and enjoy - I found myself doing this at least 5 times a day, especially recommended first thing in the morning. Just to add to the amenities, there is a water dispenser that provides both cold and hot water, and very good aircon! The shower (and bathroom in general) is also very nice. Honestly for two people, this Villa has everything.
The location is a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Kedungu beach where we enjoyed many surfing lessons. It’s a little far from the busyness of Canggu, but this is what I enjoyed most about the place. There are many local fields and footpaths to follow. Local people are VERY friendly. At the same time, there are very good local amenities and any kind of food is available via Grab (delivery app).
We stayed here for a month, but I would love to have stayed for longer. Life was easy at Villa Sasi!
