The location of the accommodation is very beautiful near the Landak river (3 minute walk) and at the edge of the jungle. We liked to be out of the centre of Bukit Lawang and more close to nature, but consider that it is a 20 minute walk to Bukit Lawang centre from here.
The accommodation has a very nice terras on which you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Maya, the host’s wife, is a very good cook and prepared delicious dishes. We recommend the Nasi Goreng and the Pumpkin curry, which were DELICIOUS. The rooms were nice and clean. The host, Putra, and his family were all very kind and were always happy to provide help!
Also, we did the jungle trekking via Putra. It was an amazing 3 day experience (can do shorter trekkings as well) that was very well-arranged. The guides Darwan and Ios were really kind, fun and knowledgeable about the jungle.
The only downside we experienced were the lack of sheets and the very synthetic and thick material blanket and towels.

Very friendly and helpfull host Putra. Flexibility to pick us up at the airport at a late hour. Very nice location at the border of the jungle. Nice food.
Nice that they are focussed on ecological holidays. The accomodation is basic but clean.
We did a very nice jungle trekking tour (3 days 2 nights) with our guide Nata with amazing food prepared by our cook Erwin.

Fantastische locatie naast de jungle, met dichtbij een heerlijke plek om te zwemmen. De bat cave is op 10 min lopen.
Eten is lekker en met zorg gemaakt.
Putra kan met alles helpen en is erg zorgzaam.
Voor een jungle trekking vraag naar Uma en Pilow, twee erg behulpzame gidsen die veel weten over de omgeving en de jungle.
Het kan some erg warm zijn in de kamers. Een deken om onder te slapen is te veel. Maar je kan gewoon vragen om een dunner laken.
