We had a wonderful stay in Agkathia, Crete. From the moment we arrived, Andrea was warm and welcoming, and it was clear she genuinely cares about her guests' experience. She went above and beyond to make our stay special, and she was quick and helpful whenever we reached out with questions.
The place itself was spotless and comfortable, and the location and views were simply stunning — a perfect base for exploring east of Crete. It felt like staying with a friend rather than a typical rental.
We'd happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Ich war von Anfang bis Mitte Oktober als Alleinreisender in diesem kleinen, aber unglaublich schönen Haus. Die Bilder können das nicht wiedergeben, alles ist sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht, das Bett ist sehr bequem, auch das Bad sehr hübsch, in der Dusche bekommt man keine Platzangst. Das Highlight ist vielleicht die Dachterrasse, wunderschöner Blick über das kleine, ruhige Dörfchen und das Meer. Man sitzt dort wunderbar in der Sonne, im Schatten oder liegt im Whirlpool. großer Parkplatz circa 100 m, Mini Markt 150 m, die beste Taverne der Gegend 20 m. und Andrea, die Gastgeberin, begrüßt einen mit liebevollen Geschenken wie Raki, Öl, Wein und leckeren Törtchen.

Kalithea Chorio 1 si trova nel cuore di un piccolo paese antico, dove ancora si respira un'atmosfera davvero autentica. Qui vivono ancora persone legate alle tradizioni, persone speciali come Cristina, la dolcissima proprietaria del Kafeneion proprio di fronte all'appartamento, o come il proprietario del minimarket, che oltre a gestire il negozio produce del miele buonissimo nelle colline intorno al paese. E proprio di fianco c'è una taverna dove si mangia ottima cucina tradizionale.
Quando ho prenotato questo appartamento, mi chiedevo: "Sarà troppo piccolo?" ...una volta arrivati, questo mio timore è totalmente svanito! Andrea, l'host, è stata davvero brava a provvedere letteralmente a tutto. In questo appartamento non manca davvero nulla!
C'è spazio per i vestiti, per le valigie, per appendere le camicie. C'è una cucina fornita di tutto, anche di lavastoviglie. C'è un letto comodissimo.
Tramite una scala si può salire sul rooftop, dove c'è un tavolo per fare colazione, aperitivo, cena... ci sono 2 lettini per prendere il sole, e c'è anche un fantastico idromassaggio per 2 persone, che abbiamo utilizzato tutte le sere.
Insomma, Kalithea Chorio 1 ha reso indimenticabili gli ultimi giorni della mia vacanza a Creta! Vengo a Creta ogni anno da 10 anni, ed un luogo così non è facile da trovare!

A cozy cottage on a hill with a view of the bay from the roof. You can admire the sea view while sitting in the jacuzzi. A very good restaurant is 10 meters away. The furnishings are very modern, and everything you need is available in the house.
