Melk központjába, ideális városnézésre és biciklitúrához is. Nagyon kedve szállásadó.

Good location, just uphill from the centre of Melk old town, approximately 10-12 mins walk to the train station (partly uphill and partly downhill). It is a gentle walk uphill (about 10 minutes) from the Danube-end of Kremsergasse (and the lovely view of Melk Abbey). The location is generally quiet (but there is some traffic noise in the bedroom as it faces the main road going into Melk from the Northeast).
Very clean and thoughtfully furnished. Lots of storage space. Excellent shower. Comfortable bed. Windows that can be opened for fresh air.
The apartment is on the ground floor of the building, but note that you need to go up are few steps (inside the building foyer) to get from street level to the door of the apartment.

Sehr zentrale Lage, wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt von Melk entfernt. Schöne, geräumige und vor allem gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Der öffentliche Parkplatz war einige Gehminuten entfernt, zum Be- und Entladen gibt es einige wenige Meter entfernt eine gebührenpflichtige Kurzparkzone. Klimaanlage und Ventilator waren vorhanden und für die Dachwohnung auch notwendig, obwohl wir bei moderaten Temperaturen dort waren. Schlüsselübergabe war in der Mail gut beschrieben. Der Bäcker war gleich wenige Meter die Straße hinunter und zu Beginn der Wiener Straße gibt es einige große Supermärkte.

Die Gästeabgabe kann in bar hinterlegt werden.
Das Haus selbst hat nur einen Stellplatz, der während unseres Aufenthaltes anderweitig belegt war und zum Beladen daher nicht genutzt werden konnte.
Wir waren mit unseren betagten Eltern unterwegs und für uns war das leider sehr umständlich, vor allem weil die (wirklich tolle) Wohnung im dritten Stock ohne Aufzug war.
Den Fernseher haben wir leider nicht zum Laufen gebracht, aber es war uns dann auch nicht wichtig genug.
Ich war außerdem froh über die Ohropax, denn bei geöffnetem Fenster hört man dann doch die Straße vor dem Haus und die Züge.

Sehr zentrale Lage, wir waren zu Fuss sehr schnell am Kloster, in der Innenstadt und an der Donau. Sehr bequeme Betten. Ausführliche Beschreibung zum Betreten der Wohnung.
Der Fernseher war nur "Attrappe" und war nicht angeschlossen. Am Abend war die Wohnung sehr kalt und ein Aufenthalt in Küche und Wohnzimmer war nur mit allen Pullovern möglich die wir dabei hatten. Telefonisch war der Vermieter nicht zu erreichen.
