It was obvious that the host had made an effort to make our stay enjoyable, there were flowers, fresh milk, biscuits & water, which was a nice touch plus treats for dogs.

Lovely clean tidy functional apartment. Everything required was available within the apartment. Tea/coffee provided along with a small jug of milk and two duo packets of biscuits.
Lovely host.
Would have been nice to have had a lamp in the living room area as main lights were quite bright. Also, didn’t quite have that ‘cozy’ feel.

Comfy and cosy apartment, felt very homely and had everything you needed to have a pleasant stay. Bed was decently comfy and I’m a light sleeper but I slept pretty well, nice little patch of grass at the front of the property for the dog to have his bedtime toilet break and kitchen was well equipped. Nice touch of having kitchen roll etc already in the apartment for you as well which you don’t always get places, small details like that I appreciate
Kitchen hot water tap got extremely hot very quickly and the bathroom sink hot tap didn’t get hot. As a few other people have mentioned it is right on the A6 road and you can hear cars going past but i couldn’t hear them when in the bedroom and I just turned the tv up abit when sat down on the sofa so couldn’t really hear it after that. My dogs not very confident when hearing cars zoom past so couldn’t really walk him anywhere around the area but you’re 10 minutes from Kendal so we just drove to places for
