Heringsdorf, on the island of Usedom, is considered a gem in northeastern Germany. It is one of the best-known and oldest seaside resorts on the Baltic Sea coast. Even Emperor Wilhelm II stayed here. Numerous artists and celebrities of the 19th century also spent their vacations at the “Kaiserbad” (Imperial Spa). The historic and lovingly restored villas define the unique seaside resort architecture.
In 1882, businessman Emil Lindemann built the most elegant hotel in Heringsdorf. He named it the “Grand Hotel Seeschloß.” It was the first hotel in town to feature an elevator and bathrooms on each floor. In 2002, the property underwent a stylish and extensive renovation, and today, with its prime location, it remains one of the premier addresses in Heringsdorf. In just 2–3 minutes on foot, you can reach Europe’s longest pier at 508 meters, as well as the 8-kilometer-long promenade connecting the three imperial spa towns of Bansin, Heringsdorf, and Ahlbeck.
This spacious 2-room apartment, measuring 79 square meters and located on the 2nd floor, impresses in every way with its great location and comfortable amenities. The apartments’ furnishings, which reflect the original architecture, are elegant and sophisticated, making everyday life seem to melt away. High-quality Italian furniture, paired with modern comforts, creates a sense of home and well-being. The stylish living area features a cozy sitting area (with a sleeper sofa for two additional guests), a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and a radio with CD player. The tall windows let in plenty of light. The small bay window is a cozy spot for reading or daydreaming. From here, you have a front-row seat to watch the activity around the concert shell. A small kitchenette with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and ceramic cooktop, as well as a dining area, are also open-conceptly integrated into the living area. The spacious bedroom features a double bed with separate mattresses (90x200) and closet space for your clothes and luggage. The adjoining bay window with a writing desk offers a bit of seclusion. The high-quality, natural-light-filled bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower, a sink/toilet, and a hair dryer. You can access the apartment’s two smaller balconies from both the living room and the bedroom. Enjoy sweeping views of the sea and the pier all the way to Świnoujście, as well as the bustling life in the heart of Heringsdorf, and soak up the atmosphere of this sophisticated seaside palace. For your convenience, there is an elevator in the building and a bicycle storage room available for your use. The parking space is located in the parking garage, about a 5-minute walk away.
