Perched above the stunning Loch Linnhe, Cheviot pod offers uninterrupted views across to Corpach and Trislaig. From your private decking, you can spot sea and golden eagles soaring overhead and enjoy visits from roe deer in the early morning. Thoughtfully designed, Cheviot stands out from typical pods with a full-size shower, a cosy wood burner, a king-size bed, a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps two children, and a well-equipped kitchen with a mini fridge and freezer.
This tranquil retreat is the perfect place to unwind while remaining within easy reach of a wide range of activities and local attractions. Pubs, restaurants, and shops are conveniently located within a mile, and the nearby train station (less than 2 miles away) offers a magical journey on the Harry Potter Steam Train. It crosses the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct and winds through breath-taking scenery and hidden beaches en-route to the fishing village of Mallaig, where ferries depart for the Isle of Skye (be sure to book the train in advance, as it fills quickly).
For adventurers, Ben Nevis—the tallest mountain in the UK—offers a rewarding climb, while the Nevis Range hosts the renowned European Bike Trials. Head south to Glencoe, a truly awe-inspiring landscape that captivates year-round with trails for every level and a ski lift for winter sports enthusiasts. In summer, the dry slope opens for tubing, making it a fun outing for the whole family. If you're enjoying a quieter day in Fort William, you’ll find plenty to do, from the local cinema and soft play area to bowling, swimming, or a scenic walk to Neptune’s Staircase.

We booked this property many months before we arrived, and we were a bit apprehensive because we were unfamiliar with the area. As it turned out, we needn't have worried. During our 6-night stay we found the pod to be exactly as it is described and we loved it. The kitchenette was perfect for our morning wake up. The bed was comfortable and overall, the unit was ideal for us. The scenery outside the front door was amazing. The area was quiet, parking was next to the pod, and the wifi worked well. We did not use the small woodburning stove as it was unseasonably warm during our visit, but we would have.The hosts were accessible (we recommend using WhatsApp for communication) but after check in, we did not have any concerns or issues.We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to the Fort William or Glencoe areas.

Definitely recommend as a stay for those who want to enjoy the Lochaber scenery and the mountains but to be within walki
Lovely location, warm and comfortable despite the relatively cold weather. Much is packed into a smallish space but it still feels fairly spacious. The views across the loch from the terrace make it a great space to stay in and it’s easily walkable to the centre of Fort William.
