Very clean and close enough to the city centre to walk into but not feel like you were crowded
Double bed as we much prefer a king size bed

Really good communication before my stay, with clear instructions for entry. The owner clearly wants to create a high quality comfortable place to stay. The laundry facility was extremely useful with separate washing machine and dryer - in itself is a reason to stay. I'd stay again.
Some road noise and being ground floor it didn't feel very private unless the blinds were closed, making the room dark. This is a minor point and there isn't anything I can think of that the owner could do.

The location was good and fairly quiet. Parking was designated and free. Key safe worked well. Kitchen was well equipped and looked new. Decent sized TV. Toiletries were of good quality.
Staircase was steep & winding which we were not informed about. Lack of shelving in bathroom. Bed was very soft even with the mattress topper. Tiles around bathroom were in need of a clean as had lots of splash marks on them. Some areas needed a thorough dusting, especially the skirting boards.
