It was extremely clean. I have stayed in dozens of hotels across the entirety of Vietnam. This is in the top 1%. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in the two men who helped park my motorbike were exceptional.
I’m being quite honest, there was not much I did not like about this place.

I almost don’t want to write this because places like this deserve to stay under the radar… but credit where it’s due.
Hoang Dong Hotel and Apartments is a proper hidden gem.
From the moment you arrive, the team just get it. Professional, attentive, but never overbearing. They look after you without hovering. It’s that rare balance most places completely miss.
A special mention to Ngoc Tuyen and Ho Quyen, who were both brilliant. Effortless service, always switched on, and genuinely warm without any of the forced hospitality nonsense.
The rooms are spot on. Clean, calm, and the beds… dangerously comfortable. Proper deep sleep territory.
The area is another win. It feels untouched. No crowds, no chaos, none of that over-touristed feel. At times it genuinely feels like you’ve stumbled into your own private corner of Ho Chi Minh.
There’s a quiet confidence about this place. No gimmicks, no noise. Just high standards, done properly.
If you know, you know.
