The view from the apartment is amazing! Great location, the Höllentalklamm hike starts right at the end of the street. The apartment is modern, clean, spacious, great for a family. The parking was free, but there was only one spot. The washing-drying machine was a great plus if you travel with kids.
The owner only speaks German, which was no problem for us, but could be for non-German-speaking guests. Also, we just discovered when we arrived that the 2-bedroom apartment is actually 1 apartment and one separate room, one floor below the apartment, with no bathroom or toilet. Of course, it is not a big deal for a family, but it is still uncomfortable to walk one floor up in the night to use the toilet. Or it should be told beforehand.

Newly renovated appartment at the highest comfort. We especially liked the two balconies with mountain view, the huge sofa and the fireplace. Very quiet surrounding, but Garmisch and Eibsee are so close and easy to reach.

Die Lage von Hammersbach direkt an der Zugspitzbahn ist auch im Winter genial. So kann man sowohl zum Zugspitzplatt als auch zur Kandahar oder Hausberg per Bahn fahren. Die Wohnung ist im Skikeller mit Schuhtrockner komfortabel, am besten ist aber die helle, moderne und durchdachte Ausstattung der Wohnung mit viel Holz und Wärme. Der Kamin und der unverbaute Blick in die Berge sind in der kalten Jahreszeit ein Traum.
