Expensive, loud, outdated, and dirty. Do not recommend

Location was pretty central to the train station (although way too close to the market) & the A/C units cooled down the space nicely.

The stairway up to the apt was scary, dirty, and narrow - It was incredibly hard to get suitcases up and down. It was really noisy (even using earplugs) throughout the night from trash being picked up at the market right across the street. The bedrooms felt really outdated - lamps and curtains were frayed and stained. Lighting was mostly fluorescent. All the walls desperately needed fresh paint. There were holes in the wall where a headboard used to be. There was mold in one of the showers. The bedroom curtains are white sheer and let light in early in the morning, but the shower curtain was black and there was no light above, so it was dark while showering. It was the same price that I paid for a really nice apartment in the Oltrarno neighborhood the week before which I highly recommend (Spirit of Florence -2 bedroom SUITE Quadruple Room on Airbnb)
