The host who met us was really nice and helpful. The location was excellent, great restaurants etc nearby.
It was noisy at night time, we didn’t sleep great as there are water boats going up and down the canal in the early hours, there was a helicopter outside at one stage! One morning some guy was sitting on the doorstep blaring music at 7am from an iPad. When I asked him to turn the volume down, he rudely gave me the two fingers and continued to blare music outside my window. So although the location and property is lovely, if you are a light sleeper you will probably be woken up by the noise. Also we stayed for 4 nights and had only 1 bath towel each, as we were doing a lot of walking every day, we would have liked to have another towel each. Other than these things, we enjoyed our stay and the property is in a brilliant location with great restaurants etc.

We loved staying in this lovely apartment on a reasonably quiet canal, easy walking distance to Madonna del Orte water-ferry station. Good sized apartment, traditionally furnished which reminds you of the special place you are staying, really appreciated the washing machine and dryer and the lovely balcony overlooking the canal. Very detailed instructions for navigating the apartment and the area were provided by the owners. Easy walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets.
The shutters in the main bedroom are a bit tricky but the owner showed us how to operate so then we were fine. The coffee machine is a bit faulty and could use replacement.

Very small bathroom and balcony..a family would struggle.
Aircon not in whole apartment..only in hall..
No toaster.
