We had a fantastic stay at Lift Hotel in Sauze d'Oulx, and would happily return.
The location is absolutely unbeatable — just 50 meters from the chairlift and around 150 meters from the town centre. It made getting onto the slopes in the morning effortless, while still being close enough to enjoy the restaurants, bars, and shops in the evening.
The hotel itself has been newly renovated, and it really shows. Everything feels fresh, modern, and spotlessly clean. The rooms and common areas are stylish yet comfortable, creating a welcoming alpine atmosphere.
One of the standout features is the designated ski room, which makes storing equipment easy and convenient. After a day on the mountain, the small but very well-equipped spa is a real treat. It includes a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and a cold plunge shower — perfect for soothing tired legs. There’s also a masseuse on-site, which is a fantastic added bonus.
The staff truly make this hotel special. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Francesco and Mariana, who went out of their way to assist us and ensure everything was perfect. Their warmth and attentiveness made a real difference.
Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered an excellent variety of meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, pastries, and hot fried options — more than enough to fuel a full day of skiing.
Our only small criticism is that the bathrooms do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion, so be sure to bring your own. Aside from that minor detail, everything was exceptional.
Overall, Lift Hotel is a superb choice for anyone visiting Sauze d’Oulx — combining perfect location, modern comfort, great facilities, and outstanding service. Highly recommended.
Not much. The walk home from the village is all uphill which can be a little challenging after a long day skiing and a few glasses of wine!! 🤣
The hotel bathrooms would benefit from providing shampoo conditioner and body lotions.

Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk en heeft ons perfect geholpen. Denk hierbij aan: Het meedenken bij het inchecken voor de inchecktijd. En het regelen van koffie + croissant door het keukenpersoneel inclusief een ontbijtbox voor ons vroege (6.00 uur) vertrek.
De locatie was op 50 meter van de lift, dus perfect!
Wij hebben een perfecte ski vakantie gehad!
Wij konden zelf geen invloed uit oefenen op de klimaatregeling van de kamer. Omdat de temperatuur voor ons iets te warm was hebben wij het raam de hele nacht open gezet. (Wat ook geen probleem is met de fijne berglucht ;) )

Friendly and professional staff at reception, good breakfast and friendly service staff, very close to ski lifts. Ski room was good size and condition.
Uncomfortable mattress, pillows. Bathroom was very small - unacceptable to not have any hooks to hang towels, no space to place toiletries, tiny shower. Booked a double room with one large bed - all confirmed then two single beds were given, had to wait to change. Very inconvenient lift (slow and small). Noise from other rooms. Poorly cleaned rooms - once the changed towels had dirt on them, bed sheets not changed, rooms smelled of chemical cleaning agents after service. Overpriced for the quality.
