Host is quite responsive overall - not immediate but you don't have to wait several hours to get a response. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, like you're actually a Japanese resident. Host provided clear directions on how to locate the property as it was not directly visible on Google Maps.
The apartment served us well with 1 bathroom, 1 toilet, 3 rooms and a basic kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, electric stove and water boiler jug. As long as we're not expecting luxury level accommodations, we found this place just nice as a place for sleeping and preparing for our sightseeing around Tokyo.
We all slept quite well on beds (2 rooms) and futon (1 room). Air-conditioners in all rooms kept the cold November temperature manageable. The shower and water heater provided good pressure and consistent temperature, while the toilet seat is heated and comes with automated multi-mode bidet (favorite thing about Japan toilets). There's also a washing machine. The balcony gives a nice glimpse of the surrounding buildings. Wifi was strong and stable which was important cos the apartment didn't come with a TV to keep us entertained as we winded down for the day.
Hikawadai subway station is about 8 mins walk away. And just a stone's throw away from the station, you can find a grocery store (Big A) where you can buy foods to eat or do simple cooking with.
If I have to nitpick, it would be that our apartment did not have a proper place for eating. The coffee table we used was narrow so we had to limit what we put on it. Since our apartment is actually the 2nd floor of the a 2-storey building, I'd say this is probably why dining space was not available.
More nitpicking - there was 1 power extension that had bent connectors that should've been replaced as it was not usable. The washbasin drains water very very slowly that it left some residual toothpaste foam. Again, not a dealbreaker but just a note for host to improve on.
