Our stay at Tea Heritage Colonial Retreat near Kandy was truly special, thanks to a team that went far beyond hospitality.
Palitha took wonderful care of us organizing everything, guiding us through the tea plantation, arranging a visit to the neighbouring organic farm, and taking us to a viewpoint for a stunning sunset. His knowledge and warmth made every outing memorable.
Dinushika's cooking was a highlight of the trip. Breakfasts and dinners were prepared with organic products from the neighbouring farm and herbs and spices straight from the villa's own garden every dish felt fresh, thoughtful, and full of flavor. A truly amazing culinary experience.
Sanju and Shanika also went out of their way to help throughout our stay, adding to the feeling that this wasn't just a villa it was a home.
Tea Heritage Colonial Retreat manages that rare balance: the comfort and service of a five-star hotel, with the genuine warmth of being welcomed into someone's home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kandy.

וילה יפיפייה, מוקפת צמחייה טרופית, סנאים מקפצים בבוקר ובערב וגחליליות בלילה.
מעל הכל אירוח מדהים -ארוחות הבוקר והערב של דנושקה היו טעימות מיוחדות ובשפע! ופאליטה המקסים שכל הזמן דאג לכל מה שביקשנו ולקח אותנו לסיור מרתק במטעי התה ובגינת הירק, הסביר על הגידול של התבלינים התה והפירות המיוחדים של סרילנקה (עשינו בהמשך הטיול שלנו גם סיור במפעל תה ואני יכולה להגיד בלב שלם שהסיור של פליטה היה הרבה יותר מעניין ). בערב קיבלנו גם סיור נוסף מפאליטה לנק' תצפית מאוד יפה לשקיעה מהממת. אפשר לרשום עוד הרבה אבל אקצר ואומר שמי שמחפש שלווה קרוב לקנדי בוילה מרווחת ומפנקת שלא יחשוב פעמיים.
לא עולה לי משהו- הכל היה נהדר

Non ce n'est pas une arnaque!!! Nous venons de passer 2 nuits tellement incroyables dans cette maison, où l'accueil et le service sont dignes d'un 5 étoiles !!! La maison est magnifique, la piscine également, mais ce qui en fait un séjour exceptionnel, c'est surtout la gentillesse de Palitha et Dinushika, qui sont aux petits soins à chaque instant. Entre la visite de la ferme et de la famille de dinushika le matin, le coucher de soleil avec une vue incroyable, les petits déjeuners et encore plus les dîners aux 16 plats, cuisine entièrement locale avec les produits frais cueillis autour, pour la plupart goûtés nulle part ailleurs lors de notre séjour !
Bref, une adresse très bien cachée, et meme si on peut se demander si c'est trop beau pour être vrai, il faut le voir pour le croire!
Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander cette adresse à tous les futurs visiteurs du Sri Lanka!
