All in all great stay had an amazing time in London thanks to this accommodation, great to walk to nightlife not too far

The location was great just be a little weary at night, as long as you are in a group just not alone it’s great, tons of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance, perfect for my friends and I to start our Europe trip off good.

No AC but to be expected, there is only one fan so just be prepared during summer. Other than the heat it’s a bit hard to find from the street and is up about 2 flights of stairs, worth it though.

In summary: No drainage in the bathroom. Incredibly rude support. Leaking roof. Broken cabinet doors and blinds. Our first day in the apartment we were met with this awful green stuff at the bottom of our bathtub and water that would not go away. There were drainage issues with the bathroom so I contacted the housekeeper, who ignored me for multiple hours. Only after calling the booking.com support line did he actually tell me SEVEN HOURS LATER that it'll be sorted out the following day! The only solution that was ever attempted was pouring acid into the drain and then telling me to wait! IN THE MIDST OF A HEATWAVE WE WERE UNABLE TO WASH OURSELVES AT THE APARTMENT BECAUSE OF THIS. Due to that lack of drainage, any attempt at cleaning ourselves resulted in all the dirt and filth to settle in the bathtub adding on to the awful smell coming from there. After attempting to call the number advertised as a support line again, I was rudely told to not call that number unless it was an "actual emergency" and was hung up on after trying to ask for help regarding this issue. The apartment itself was in very poor condition. The furniture was cheap and damaged with some kitchen cabinet doors not closing. The blinds never worked right, all were creased and would seem to have a mind of their own at times. And the windows had zero noise isolation because they would never fully close. Which is important when in a place as busy at night as Shoreditch. On our last day after some rain at night, we found MULTIPLE leaks in the roof which resulted in a lot of our clothing and souvenirs being soaked in water and wet puddles all over the floor. The disregard for our experience at this apartment from everyone involved has made it clear this is not a place for anyone to stay at, but instead a scam to take your money. I for one will be telling everyone to avoid anything hosted by "City Sparrow" apartments because this was simply BEYOND unacceptable.

The staff did not provide the code upon arriving at the property, as well as not providing the right code on my final day, so I was stuck with the key, and could only leave after the cleaner showed up and took it, which made me miss my train home. Late at night some people repeatedly tried to open the entrance door. The kitchen fan above the stove was heavily damaged.
