Despite being a smaller space, it feels very cozy and comfortable. The layout is excellent, and everything you need is within arm's reach.
The included facilities and appliances make the stay incredibly convenient once you get the hang of them.
A handy visitor's manual (in multiple languages) is provided, which is a lifesaver if you are unfamiliar with how Japanese home appliances work.
On nice days, the walk to and from the accommodation along the river is peaceful and scenic. Plus, having a vending machine right outside is perfect for a quick drink!
My stay here made my very first trip to Japan incredibly memorable. A special thank you to the hosts!
Some of the furniture is showing its age (or quality) and needs a bit of maintenance (especially the sofa).
The unit is on the smaller side. It is perfectly fine for 2–3 people, but hosting 5 people would feel exceptionally cramped.
Upon arrival, we noticed the outside gate (next to the bedroom) and the glass entry door were both left unlocked.
The cleaning supplies rack in the common hallway partially obstructs the path to this unit and the one opposite it, making entry tricky with bags.
While it didn't bother me personally, it's worth noting for light sleepers that the property is close to a road where loud vehicles (like trucks) occasionally pass by.
