AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DANGEROUS PROPERTY - DOES NOT REFUND

Nothing. We refused to stay. The beds were unstable and missing slats. The tent and contents were mouldy, the floor was absolutely sodden, with a puddle right next to the electric point, which was a standard indoor extension.

That the "host", Donna, strung us along for nearly a month, promising us a refund of the £306 we paid, before blocking my number yesterday on sms, calls, and WhatsApp. I intend to take her to court to recover the money.

Avoid, poorly run business

Nothing, very poorly run. Can't get hold of properly owners, don't respond through Booking.com or via text. Don't answer phone calls.

Trip did not start well, the details for the property are incorrect on booking.com, it takes you to a village called Spittal. Couldn't see the property after looking for 30mins, so we called into the local pub to ask for directions. Bar staff said they have had multiple people come in here asking about there but they had no idea where it was. We tried to call the property, no answer. Multiple attempts later Donna answers. She knowly knows about the incorrect details on booking.com but doesn't think to notify her customers prior to them travelling. The property is actually another 45 mins away from Spittal. We would not have booked this property if we knew where it was located. Donna then said she would waiver the cancellation charges as the details are not true on the website but we are still chasing our money. Granted we wanted to cancel 3 hours before check in, she said she would waiver the fees. Booking.com have tried to contact them 4 times and they do not respond to them to cancel charges. If she had just said when we tried to cancel, sorry it's last minute it's too short notice, we would have accepted the cost but the fact she said she would waiver cancellation charges then doesn't shows the characters being dealt with. We have tried to contact them to resolve it but again no response. Avoid this property, it is poorly run. We ended up staying in a Premier Inn.

Overnight stay with Grandchildren

So Good for children , Took grandchildren loved the outdoors and freedom, Oldest one (11) Loved toasting marshmallows on bbq ,

Could have been a Touch cleaner, the cockery in kitchen weren't at it's best, And I do think The Animal poo should be cleaned up with children running around
