The villa was spacious, very clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping. There were plenty of towels for both the pool and showering, lots of storage space and air conditioning in all the main rooms. The key lockbox outside the villa was also really convenient, as we didn't have to carry a key around with us.
The pool was fantastic. Large, lovely and definitely one of the highlights of our stay!
The location was good too. It was quiet and far enough away from the hustle and bustle, while still being within a convenient distance of everything. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They were always quick to respond and took care of any requests promptly.
Both bathrooms were partially open to the outdoors, which meant we had occasional visitors such as frogs and geckos, as well as quite a few mosquitoes. The plants in one of the bathrooms were also a little sparse, making it look slightly bare, although this didn't really bother us.
There was also some construction work going on next door, which could be quite noisy in the early mornings. It wasn't a major issue for us, as we were travelling with an early-rising child, but it might be worth keeping in mind if you enjoy sleeping in.
