Had a fabulous stay in this quirky villa set in a beautiful little garden. Continental breakfast items and water provided as a welcome pack. Villa eclectic in style and very clean. Hosted by Athina and her father Manolis, who are two of the loveliest most generous people you could wish to meet. On arrival we had travelled a long way and Manolis and Athina actually made lunch for us! We were invited to the family and guests bbq on the evening with excellent food with a musician playing too. More of a Cretan feast than a bbq.Very enjoyable.
I think there are six individual villas all together, some with swimming.pool and all built by Manolis. He showed us round a couple of them and they are gorgeous. A very pretty little complex .
Location is great. There is parking on site for every villa and a ten minute walk will take you to the lively village square with interesting tavernas. Ptsidia is a lovely little village about five minutes drive from Komos beach.
On the day we left we were allowed a late checkout in a different villa as ours was booked and once again the lovely Manolis brought us lunch over.
This is Cretan hospitality at its finest and myself and hubby can't thank them enough for such an enjoyable stay. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back!!

Dit is zonder twijfel het mooiste en meest bijzondere verblijf waar wij ooit zijn geweest. Het leemhuisje is niet alleen uniek, maar ook ontzettend sfeervol en comfortabel. Alles klopt: van de warme uitstraling tot de perfecte afwerking – precies zoals op de foto’s, misschien zelfs nog mooier in het echt!
We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en -vrouw met een heerlijk vers omeletje, wat meteen een gevoel van thuiskomen gaf. Het huisje was brandschoon en volledig uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt.
Een absoluut hoogtepunt was de uitnodiging om samen met de gastheer een avond mee te eten. Het was supergezellig en de maaltijd was overheerlijk. Zulke gastvrijheid kom je zelden tegen.
Kortom: een uniek en warm verblijf in een prachtig leemhuisje, met fantastische gastvrijheid. Een plek om nooit te vergeten – wij komen zeker terug!
Het enige minpunt? Dat we niet langer konden blijven 😉
