Location is great and the look of the hotel in the surroundings was pleasing on the eye. Rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and good value for money. Restaurant is nicely decorated and chic. Breakfast was good with enough options to suit most people and the lady on breakfast service was friendly, polite and welcoming. Most of the staff and service personnel were polite, friendly and multilingual.
The seating they supply with the rooms which have a private terrace with lakeside view are so so uncomfortable as they use deck chairs which are not easy to get in and out off, especially if you are older, and they do not supply any form of table to allow you to admire the view with your drink. We booked a room with a double bed and private terrace and were given a room with no terrace, when they changed our room to what was booked it had twin beds in it. The young gentleman on reception when we checked in was unfriendly, no welcoming smile, a little arrogant and spoke no other language which made any questions we had impossible. The menu of the restaurant is okay but not great and has not changed since our last stay there. The chicken burger was tasteless, the salad was just limp lettuce, but my husband enjoyed his beef tartare. The menu of the day could do with some more choice other than just 2 dishes each for the starter and main course.
