I would think twice before booking this place - issues after issues

The host was pleasant and met us on arrival, but not great at solving the issues we had, the overall stay was really disappointing.

Overall the place is in need of repair Pictures are outdated Essential products that were mentioned as being provided were not - Strong smell of bleach on arrival to try and cover the damp smell - Smell of cigarette smoke when you turn on extractor fan in kitchen - No toiletries/cleaning products - No oven gloves - No kitchen oven trays - Strange man unannounced in garden - to fix pool which didn't do for 2 hours just chilled in garden - No cleaning cloths - Power cuts not informed happened every night - especially when cooking - Damp and black mould in back room - Flooded washing machine - No soap - Broken lights and lamps not working inside and out - Broken shower heads - Broken umbrellas - Smell of damp through - Broken BBQ - Broken sink - Broken table - Damage throughout property - Ants everywhere inside and out The pool was pretty much unusable for our entire stay, it was visibly dirty with yellow scum at the bottom, the pool was not cleaned every couple of days as they said it would be. We were not even informed that it was broken and the filtration system was not working. Hence the yellow and black scum at the sides and bottom of pool. Once I requested for someone to come and clean the pool after the 2 days had past and no one came, then on the 4th day some random guy appeared and let themselves into the vila unannounced and proceeded to just chill in the garden - this was very unprofessional and encroached on our privacy. We actually left the villa as we felt uncomfortable, once we came back one out of three filters were working but the pool remained dirty. The washing machine broke so someone came to repair and they couldn't and after they left it subsequently flooded we informed host and told us not to worry and then more water came and then finally someone else came to fix the floods and the water stopped but washing machine couldn't be fixed. Raised all these issue and none of them were resolved.

Not a luxury villa, not a luxury stay and pretty much ruined our Christmas with family who we have not seen in a very lo

We booked this villa for three weeks over Christmas, hoping for a special and relaxing family break. Sadly, it became a very stressful experience and ultimately overshadowed what should have been a memorable family Christmas. The issues we experienced included: • Dirty unusable and poorly maintained swimming pool • Faulty electrics & constant power cuts which raised safety concerns • The property was freezing cold and we had to buy our own heaters • Serious mould issues inside the villa • Broken dishwasher • Broken glass • Broken sun lounges • Leaking sinks We raised concerns during our stay, but the problems were not properly resolved and continued to affect us throughout the three weeks. Spending Christmas away from home is a big decision for a family. Instead of relaxing and making special memories, we were dealing with stress, complaints and ongoing disruption. We did not want to leave a negative review, but we feel future guests deserve transparency before committing to a long stay here. We truly hope these issues are addressed so that other families do not experience the same disappointment.
