A lovely apartment in a great location

Shoutout to Toni for helping us check in and hauling our luggage up the stairs! Just a heads-up that I completely missed when booking: there’s no elevator, and we lost track of how many flights of stairs we had to climb to get to the apartment. But honestly, everything else was perfect. The place has a great cozy living and dining area, a solid walk-in wardrobe, and an awesome bathroom setup with his-and-her sinks, a hot steam bath, plus a handy extra toilet. The location is amazing too — only about a 6-minute walk to the Cathedral and 7 minutes to the Firenze SMN station. We walked to basically every single spot on our itinerary!
The stairs.

The location was great, as it was a short walk to the train station and in the historic city center. This is a great place for exploring Florence and relaxing afterwards. One can choose to prepare their meals here or enjoy many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. A food market is nearby. The apartment was very clean and the host provided many amenities, including fresh fruit.
Just a note about the stairs. It's not a place for anyone who has problems with challenging stairs. This is my reason for the 9 rating. Otherwise, it was a 10.
