Tahiti Lagoon Resort

The setting was truly beautiful. The over-the-water bungalows were very nice and spacious.

The restaurant's menu was the same all week, and the same for lunch and dinner. Very few options. It was pricey.

The room was great. The Lagoon restaurant was perfect.

The overwater bungalow was new and bright. Very nice.

The coral wasn’t looking very healthy.

Some features are four/five star eg.nice pool, size of room, lobby design . Others are like two star no toiletries, few towels, no slippers or bathrobe, just one chair no water from tub taps.... I think more work is needed to improve this property. I liked the families of cockrels and chickens roaming on the property.

We had written to ask for possible early check in at 6am and received reply yes. I showed the confirmation of this at reception and they simply said it was a mistake of booking.com. They did not offer any alternative despite the fact that there were rooms available. If the answer had been no I would have arranged an alternative or paid for the room an extra day. As it was we had to wait 10 hours after travelling for 48 hours. It is not correct or professional to blame booking.com for this mistake.
