Für uns sehr gute Lage in der Nähe der Familie. Gut ausgestattetes Haus. Effektive Ventilatoren bei großer Hitze. Fester PKW-Stellplatz. Sehr freundlicher e-mail Kontakt mit dem Vermieter.
Etwas hakelige, gewöhnungsbedürftige (englische) Türschlösser. Das Haus ist kein Nichtraucher-Haus.

The house was in a perfect location for our stay. It was around a 5 minute drive into town with a Tesco and an Aldi a short drive away. The house was very comfortable in a quiet area with the added benefit of safe parking at the rear of the property. I enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.
It’s not a dislike in any way but the house could do with a touch of TLC but, that said, it didn’t detract from our stay and we felt comfortable and at home here. I would definitely recommend,

The location was quite good as it was reasonably central in Colchester but still a bit if a walk to the town centre. Parking was easy and close to the rear of the property. The sitting room and dining area were comfortable and the bedroom of reasonable size.
The rear access door was difficult to open and lock and needs repair. The back step had a piece of plywood over the step which could be tripping hazard. The rear yard was unkempt. The Kitchen was small and not very clean, the stove was greasy and the kitchen range hood did not work. The handle to the kitchen window was broken. There was only one large sharp knife and no cloth to wipe benches. Carpets in the house need cleaning. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles that were in pieces and the shower head support column was broken. There was no iron but I found two empty boxes for irons in the cupboard. Overall, the property could not be described as being "stunning" but in need of quite a bit of TLC.
