The location was excellent for our stay in Wainuiomata, and communication with the host was generally prompt.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay, including only one of the two keys working, poor-quality mattresses that sagged badly, and a kitchen with only an old, rusty hotplate that we didn’t feel was safe to use. We were also concerned about an electrical power point that appeared damaged and sparked when plugs were inserted or removed. Parking was limited to on-street only, which was inconvenient. With some attention to maintenance and a few upgrades, this could be a much better place to stay.
