The apartment had several positive features. The air conditioning was centrally located and worked well, making it easy to keep the apartment comfortable. The sound insulation from outside was also very good, which made the apartment relatively quiet despite its surroundings.
The bed was exceptionally large and comfortable, which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing, with several cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues that I believe should be addressed.
1. Toilet cleanliness
The toilet was not acceptably clean. There were two visible fecal particles on the toilet seat, and there was a strong smell resembling dried urine. Although the toilet appeared relatively clean at first glance, these issues made me uncomfortable using it and raised concerns about the cleanliness of the surrounding area.
2. Strong smell throughout the apartment
The entire apartment had a very strong smell of bleach mixed with what seemed like old or damp clothing. I was unable to properly air it out, and it was particularly unpleasant at night when I had to keep the windows closed to use the air conditioning.
3. Shower water leakage
The shower has a very poor design that allows water to leak onto the bathroom floor, directly around the toilet and toilet brush. There is also no adequate floor drain in that area. After showering, I had to use an extra towel to dry the floor. This was unhygienic and particularly unpleasant given the location of the accumulated water.
4. Kitchen equipment
There were no proper cutting knives available. The only knives provided were poor-quality serrated knives, which made preparing food unnecessarily difficult.
5. Slippery stairs
The final set of stairs in the building was extremely slippery. I almost slipped and fell while leaving the building, which I consider a potential safety hazard.
6. Poor sound insulation
The entrance doors provided very poor sound insulation. People talking in the hallway could be heard clearly inside the apartment and woke me up while I was sleeping.
Overall, these issues significantly affected my comfort during the stay. I would strongly recommend improving the cleaning standards, addressing the shower drainage and water leakage, providing proper kitchen utensils, and looking into the safety and sound insulation issues.
