Hôtel de Soie

Absolutely spectacular boutique hotel. From the refreshing welcome drink to the exceptional staff, we had a perfect 5-night stay. The room was spacious, beautiful and comfortable, with a bathtub and sink hewn from dark stone, and joinery and furniture made of reclaimed ship timber. The shower and toilet were in separate cubicles adjoining the bathroom area, which offered additional privacy. There were many thoughtful touches throughout the room such as the sensor night lights that turned on along the floor when getting up at night. I also loved the robes which were perfect to laze around in, and the separate armchair and daybed. We enjoyed breakfast each morning in the hotel dining room. Using high quality ingredients, the freshly squeezed juice, coffee and breakfast selection were lovely, simple and healthy. We also loved the hotel pool which we used both day and night, and always had the pool all to ourselves! The pool area had comfy chairs and pool towels. The location was also great, on a quiet leafy street. Only a few minutes’ walk to the beach and with many cafes, restaurants and laundry services nearby. It was easy to get a Grab anywhere including across the bridge to Hai Chau. For anyone staying, we highly recommend joining a V.Soul jewellery workshop and visiting Nguon Spa nearby. Last but not least, the staff were truly exceptional, especially Quan, Thao and others we unfortunately did not get the names of (including the lovely women who served breakfast and the cleaners). The hotel surprised us with birthday decorations in the room on arrival, and Quan also helped me carry my suitcase to the room and brought a portable fan on request. Staff were always friendly and prompt with any requests. Thank you!

Location and friendly staffs

There isn’t much to choose for breakfast as the variety are very limited. Additionally, as l am a heavy coffee drinker l strongly recommend for the hotel to review their one cup policy.
