Whether you're coming back from a long hike or just enjoying a slow morning, it’s the kind of place that helps you truly disconnect. We stayed for 5 days in July and we were very well looked after. The staff were very warm and welcoming when we arrived. The building has been renovated to a high standard and is kept very clean and well maintained by the hard working staff. Lots of nice details such as roof terrace, espresso pod machine in the corridor on each floor, a safe and fridge in the room with alcoholic and soft drinks which were complementary (I have never experienced this in any hotel). The rooms have good air con and modern bathrooms. There is a free public car park 5 mins walk from the hotel up a steep hill. The town is lovely but very hilly so less able walkers may struggle. The highlight for us was the restaurant. We were half board and had breakfast and lunch or dinner each day. The meals of chef José were outstanding. They were healthy and beautifully presented, generous portion sizes and full of Andalusian flavours using local produce. It was one of the best dining experiences we have had in any hotel or restaurant. We were also well looked after by Emily in the restaurant who helped make it such a wonderful experience.
